BanCoppel

the challenge

In a market where many banks already offered mortgages, BanCoppel wanted to build an accessible offering. It partnered with Yave to create both the public website and the panels needed to apply for and manage mortgage loans.

The challenge spanned several product areas: explaining the offer to prospective homeowners, supporting applications and document uploads, and equipping the teams managing loans and promoting the product in stores. Each audience needed its own flow within a shared experience.

my approach

The work was organized around the mortgage journey and the people involved. The public experience brought together the landing page, simulator and preapproval flow. The acquisition panel covered document submission, while management and promoter panels supported operations.

Internal tools and email marketing completed the scope. The case study follows both sides of the service: what applicants need to move forward and what teams need to support them. Each flow has its own section for screens, sequences and interaction details.

The approach 1

landing page

The entry point to the mortgage offering. The landing page introduces the product and its requirements, addresses initial questions and connects visitors to the simulator. The design objective: help people understand the offer before starting an application.

simulator

The flow for exploring a mortgage before starting an application. This workstream covers simulation inputs and the resulting estimate, with a focus on making the information understandable enough to inform the next step.

preapproval

The bridge between exploring a mortgage and beginning the application. The preapproval flow organizes applicant information and communicates the outcome of this initial stage. Clarity matters here: preapproval needs to be distinguishable from final loan approval.

acquisition

The applicant panel for uploading documents to the mortgage file. A dedicated workstream for the documentary side of the application, where the interface needs to make requested information and the submission process understandable.

loan management

The panel for managing loans from the operations side. This workstream presents the perspective of teams working with applications and organizing loan information, beyond the experience visible to applicants.

store promoters

An experience for promoters at each store. This panel connects the in-person channel to the digital product and provides a dedicated space for promoting the mortgage offering, with needs distinct from those of applicants and management teams.

internal tools

Tools for the internal work supporting the mortgage product. This section provides space to present operational interfaces individually and explain each tool's purpose alongside its screens.

email marketing

Product communication was also part of the work. Email marketing extends the experience beyond the website and panels, with room to present each campaign's messaging, composition and calls to action.

the results

The scope brought together eight workstreams: landing page, simulator, preapproval, acquisition, loan management, store promoters, internal tools and email marketing. The deliverables covered the applicant experience, operational interfaces and product communication.

The BanCoppel and Yave partnership became a product effort spanning several connected areas, with a shared purpose: offering accessible mortgages and supporting the application and management process.
